Adam is OBSESSED with his choo-choo trains! He got all of the tracks and trains for his 2nd birthday and not until recently has he learned how to put the tracks together himself. I was really impressed at the length of this particular track...and also impressed with how diligently and serious he was about this project!!!

Out of the mouths of babes....
Well, this blog doesn't come with a picture because no one wants to see me first thing in the morning! But I thought I would share this because it made me cry....Adam woke up today and must have had a dream about being back home in Texas. The first words he says to me is "Mommy I want my old bed in my old house". Then he says, "Our old house is far away, Nana and Papa are far way, and Ty and Cole are far away". Ok, the tears are coming back as I write. Just want to let all of you know that all of us, including Adam wish you weren't so FAR AWAY!!! We love our friends and family :)

Elza Gymnastics!!!
So today the boys both looked like they were practicing for the next Summer Olympics! :) Carter is practicing day in and day out in attempts to master crawling, but as you can see sometimes it backfires and ends up stuck between furniture. Adam was not only there for moral support, but was practicing his summersault routine right along side his brother. Good times.
We gotta B.O.B.!!
We were afraid something this big would never make it to our APO address, but it did!! And it only took 10 days, way to go REI :) Its been great to go on morning walks/runs together as a family. The boys enjoy it just as much as we do.
PS...if anyone knows how to keep socks on a 9 month old, let me know!!

There is Light!!
I'm so excited! The other day I realized how well the lighting is in Carter's room! I took a few pictures of the boys...only a few because they (especially Adam) have a pretty short attention span in front of the camera. But I take what I can get, and I am very pleased with the potential going on with the light in this room! Yay! Its the simple pleasures, right? :)

Our trip to Damdaemun
Jon and I were able to take a day trip alone to Damdaemun! Nana stayed home with the boys so we could explore. Damdaemun is a shopping mecca. Whether you desire street markets, clothing markets, or craft and fabric markets...its all here. We saw some pretty crowded streets and tried several of the street vendors...interesting, but no thanks to the stinky silk worms for sale--yuck! We had a great time trying new things together.
